I searched old posts here and didn't come up with too much information on a double gig bag that will fit the extra long Bongo 5. It looks like there is at least one other option out there, but I just bought a LowEnd leather bag and it fits just fine. Really nicely made! It's not cheap but very well made (and leather) and I'd say the price is more than fair. It's probably 3/4" longer than the bass so I'll wrap a small towel around the headstock to protect the point from the zipper. These bags have been selling out about as fast as they come in, but he had one other in stock when I ordered mine last week.

Here's the site but I couldn't link directly to the page. Go to New Gear then scroll down for it.

Yeah, those are beautiful bags. Brian brought some to the Atlanta Talkbass GTG, and I really wanted one. I'll probably pick one up at some point.

For the time being, I've got one of these Mooradian double gigbags, and it fits both my fretted and fretless 5 string Bongos without any problem.

Update - the Bongo 5 fits very well in the top compartment of the double bag (away from backpack straps) so I didn't bother to try it in the other one. It seems like it's just a little shorter and didn't fit well in there - so this probably isn't the one if you're looking to haul two Bongo 5's around. I think they're pretty much handmade so there could be differences from one bag to the next.

Just the facts, ma'am...
