Bump for an old thread. What I do have is a MINT (no dings or scratches anywhere) Carbon Blue pearl Bongo 5 SC/H with factory HSC to trade.

One just became available recently and hung around for a few days before it sold...I tried, but did not get a quote on it sooo that's the way it goes. I may look into ordering one eventually. That way I can have 2.

The Stealth Bongo 5H is still available and by my records due to be completed any day now....I show it a bit later than the 4/14 date it was projected to be completed althought trade-ins just make more work for me for the same net result since I don't mark up trade-ins when reselling.

I do business different than other dealers is all. I can't in good conscience give someone $750 in a trade-in deal then turn it around at say $850 so I put my trade-ins back out at the same price I gave my buyer, net result to me is twice as many basses to photograph, list, sell, pack for the same $ in my pocket. It's just a lot cleaner if you guys sell em yourself and buy outright....it'd be different if Jack was doing the shipping and receiving...LOL.

I'm not saying no to all trades because I know a lot of people would rather do that than attempt to sell their basses themselves so it's not a "in granite" type thing for me. If you really want to get my attention on trade-ins hit me up with some 80's pointy basses or other vintage gear that makes my peepee tingle in a special way.

A vintage Vox, Hagstrom, Framus, Egmund and such always gets my attention....you know, the 60's crap that plays like beating on a wet cardboard box...that stuff.
