Bongo abuse in video?

Ok! I know that I didn't make a lot of friends w/ my original view on the looks of the bongo. However, I have taken the last few days to re-examine my thoughts. This was inspired by a Trick Pony video I saw on CMT that really irritated me. At the end of the video "i'm not the bride" Ira Dean throws a green bongo on the ground and it bounced like a ping pong ball. If I had seen the video earlier I would have asked him about it when they were at the club New Years Eve. Just yesterday I went to play the bongo again with an open mind. I gotta say, I was wrong. To ernie ball, I'm sorry for being slow to come around. I'm now a proud bongo owner. I'm still wondering though, does it pain anyone else to see trick pony abuse the bongo or to see Rascal Flatts' Jay Demarcus play his sr5 in the rain? I could never do anything like that to my guitars regardless of how much money I had or who give me the guitars. I don't get it!!!!

Good for you!! I still have to sleep with a picture of a Bongo under my pillow.

That was quite the turn around.


The Lexapro helps ease the pain though.

Bongo abuse

What irritates me is, those guys probably get endorsements and don't pay for those instruments. I would be grateful, no matter how much money I make to have a EB endorsment.

He may have been given a Bongo reject from the factory to use in the video.
