Hi,

Any suggestions on where to find a 4 string double humbucker bongo bass?

Of course, this is assuming you live in the USA - being in the UK I would contact these places to no avail.

aye, if you're uk based and want a customer order, the place to go is strings 'n' things, they're the UK dealer. Blindlemon on here works there (dunno if he owns it or what?)

I am in Pennsylvania. My boyfriend plays a musicman now and is interested in a bongo bass. I bought him a Ric bass about 2 years ago and it was crazy trying to find one. So I thought I would get a head start on looking for a bongo bass just in case I run into the same problem.

Thanks.

Depending on where in PA you are, a road trip up to central Connecticut might be in order. Pete DuBaldo has one in stock.

Welcome to DuBaldo Music Center!

From eastern PA it's doable as a day trip.

Or, if all you need is to see/hear one in person, I suppose you could come to one of my band's practices. We practice in western CT (Ridgefield), which is closer to PA than Pete's. Or you could come to a gig, but we don't have a public one until mid-January... it's closer still, in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.

There's another Bongoloid in northern NJ (AnthonyD) who gigs pretty regularly... his gigs would be closer to you.

Might still not be a female. All Sambuca mentioned was a boyfriend.

Anyway, yes, check out Pete DuBaldo at Dubaldo Music. He's going to have a Bongo, for sure. If we can answer any questions, let us know!

Try a wife instead. My wife bought me my Bongo 5 HH as a second anniversary present. She also had bought me a bass as a first anniversary present which I sold along with another bass to get my new Bongo 5 single H. She also bought me a bass as a wedding present, too.
SHE'S A KEEPER AND SO ARE THESE BASSES!
