Bongo Case

Wierd question. Does it smell? I just ordered a Bongo 5, and the case that will come with it, will it smell? My last bass, when I bought a case for it (Gator), the inside of the case smelled foul and I had to use baking soda to get rid of the smell only to not be able to completely get rid of the baking soda.

The cases for my two musiman basses never smelled, but I've had SKB's that did and returned them.

I think if you leave the case opened in the sun for a day the UV, heat and outgassing of glues will get rid of any smell ultimately.

Hey, look at it this way; the more the case smells, the more you'll keep practicing, i.e., - to avoid returning it to the case!!!
