Which color Bongo do I buy Egyptian smoke or Desert gold both are the same price @ Bass Central and I love both colors and my wife gave me the go ahead.

I have a white stingray 4 HH. I will play both these basses at church so I was wondering if the Desert gold would be to bright.

Also has anyone had any bad experiances with bass central? Thanks for your help:D

I like the Egyptian smoke. There is a picture of one on Gail Ann Dorsey that's really nice.

To bright for church? I thought god was supposed to accept you no matter what.....funny.

I have a DG-B6 and it is bright, but that's why I ordered that color.
Great color in my biased opinion, the color comes alive under stage lights and even more in sunlight.
As far as "B/C" goes, call Pete Dubaldo first and see what he has:)

Not that I have any right to question the sanity of the mothership's executive brain trust....

...but killing off DG is just plain whacked.

I grieve.

On the other hand, I've got mine and I love the way it looks.

True Gold might be the new DG, though. I look forward to seeing it in person (because EBMM finishes never quite photograph right...they always look better in real life).

I'm still holding out for British Racing Green. "Olive Gold" is close, but looks like an M-48 tank with a coating of carnuba wax over the paint...
