hey guys, I just added am used Bongo 5 to my collection and I am having issues with the sound. For some reason(the batteries are all new by the way) the bridge pickup has a lower output than the neck pickup. I adjusted the neck pickup to a much lower level than the bridge(and further raised the bridge) and the difference is still pretty significant. Any ideas?

You may have the bridge pickup too close to the strings. The neodymium magnets in the Bongo pickups are extremely powerful and if you raise the pickup too much the magnetic field can dampen the vibration of the strings.

Set the bass up according to factory specs (set forth in the FAQ) and see what happens.
