Congrats on your new acquisition! I'm almost sad to see it go. Though I am glad to see it find a good home.
Kinda crazy, we had the thing sitting around for months, I make one post here and it sells the next day.
Once again congratulations, and have fun with your new (used) bass!

Sounds like your manager needs to give you a pat on the back, i.e. a BIG FAT BONUS CHECK, for being so helpful.

Just MY OPINION!

Thanks again!

I'm not surprised. If more salespeople used the forum - I mean as real users, not just as a sales ploy - they'd sell a lot more EBMM instruments.

damn, i was planning on buying it =( well i guess good job

wanna sell it to me???

Well Jaco, I'm not sure if I want to get rid of it right now. I really want to give it a good try and see if I will end up a 'Bongo fan' like so many in this forum. It's just that I've been a Stingray player for so long, I think it's going to take me some time to let the Bongo 'break me in'.

About the ONLY thing that would tear from my hands right now is a GOOD DEAL on a SM-Y2D. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I played one the other day and FELL IN LOVE with it. The store that had it, just wanted more than I was willing to pay and I'm feeling kinda short on cash.

For all of you who want pics...I'll post some after this CRAZY Weekend is over...
I GET TO GIG with my new AL this WEEKEND!!! And MAN does it sound AMAZING!!! I'm definitely a Piezo Fan now!!!

What's really crazy is that GC doesn't have a better inventory system. I have a friend who was mildly interested in a Bongo...and even more so since I told him that GC was discounting them. Our local GC hasn't had a Bongo in months, but twice in the last few months we asked a salesman to look for any Bongos at other stores and both times were told that there were no Bongos in "the system".

Im going to still make the Bongo. It is too bad that GC cannot sell them. It really is a bonus for the independent stores....

I think I've only seen one color Bongo in GC. There are so many great colors but they don't ever have them. Also, GC seems to only order the HH model. So if you want a different color or pickup config, you have to find another store.

Hi Folks,

All I had to was to specify the color, pickup configuation, and pickguard. It only took a couple months and it arrived from the MM factory to spec with a immaculate attention to detail. Gotta love that. I am sure if you ask, it can be ordered and built.

Cheers, Shepp...
