Okay, I don't normally ask these kinds of questions, nor do I normally care, but someone asked me, so.....

What are the Bongo's frets made of? Stainless steel?

It's a nickel / silver alloy.

Is that "nickel-silver" (alloy of nickel, copper and zinc... no silver involved) or an alloy of nickel and silver?

An alloy of nickel and silver. I have no idea how else to describe it, I'm not very technical. I had to ask someone for the answer anyways. ;)

What is EB opinion of stainless steel frets? I'd assume that it would have to change the tone (brighter maybe?).

Colin.

I think we might say something like "if it ain't broke, don't fix it..." ;)

Personally I thought it was a legitimate question. I've only known about them since parker guitars put them on their guitars claiming an extraordinary lifespan.
Even a refret of the same type of frets can change the sound.
