Bongo Guitar

I apologize if this was answered before - were/are there any plans to create a guitar version of the Bongo bass?

Hah! It's a good question. EBMM came up with a guitar prototype, however the style didn't suit a guitar the way it did a bass, so it never made the cut.

Some of us had the chance to play one at the open house a few years back.

(That's not me, btw.)

It should remain as a prototype on that wall...sometimes you have to try it to see in person that it just does and will not work. Love the Bongo bass...on the guitar it just looks like either a toilet seat or a medievel weapon haha. Now lets see what the Stallion will bring though!!!

The only issue with it is that the body appears to large for that neck. If the body was downsized I think it could look cool.

It was real cool to see and play it at the Open House. Bongo should stay as a bass. Just one of those things that did not make the cut. Is what it is.
