A friend offered to do some custom art on a clear Bongo pickguard. I turned it over with no idea what to expect. Turns out I got a true bongo head - presenting my Dia los Muertos Bongo...

How high has your Bongohead been lately? This was from a gig last weekend at 11,600 feet above sea level at the Summit House in Keystone, Colorado.

It was the "peak" of my career...

This is not the finish. The body is made of Canadian walnut.

It's made to order. The previous owner commissioned a very good master. I bought it already in this form.
