I slapped together a Bongo Page over at Camp Bovine. If anyone has anything they'd like to contribute, I'd sure be glad to have it.

Also, I have a bit of a hangover.
midopa said:Hm... That article from the BMW Designworks team says that they hope to have the Bongo made out of a new material and has better sustain than wood! Will we be seeing Bongos made out of crazy synthethic material soon?![]()

bovinehost said:1. Always Noilly Pratt, and I just sort of wave it over the martini glass and say 'Boo'.
2. The concept of replacing the wood is only talked about by the Design Group guys. Not sure EB has bought into that particular part of the deal - any talk of that, Jon?
cgworkman said:hey now! i used to own a steinberger! but then again that's why i'm not to crazy about seeing EB go that direction. steinbergers are a nice concept - but it eventually got old and outdated - at leasy the tone did as far as my tastes.
otherwise it was an excellent instrument - but i really enjoy my stingray5 much more than i ever did my steinberger!
midopa said:Didn't Sting play one of these oddities? Haha
cgworkman said:This is what he plays mostly...
