The only problem I can see with getting a Bongo is that you start thinking about what it would be like with a different PU configuration, differen # of strings, and in my case, as fretless.

Something tells me you'll end up with more than one, but even if you don't, nice score! Can't wait to see pics!

The one day I will have a single hummer 5 in black with an abalone guard,
Tom

That Bongo is screaming for either a black or red tort pickguard......

Sweet BTW! My black one (used to belong to Todd 4TA) has a black guard, and I like it a lot - looks classy and mean all at the same time. My next black Bongo will have the red tort guard.

Congrats on the Bongo. Totally different animal than the Ray for sure.

That would look heavenly indeed with a tort pickguard.

I said yesterday was yesterday a long time ago if I recall.

Congrats on the Bongo. I hope the one I get don't quite get me like the one you got did you but if it does. Oh well, that proves they da stuff.

Hey! how bout letting the wife name the pick guard? She might really come up with the right combination. Unless of course you have messed up in the last couple of days. I know that feeling been there done that.

Now to feel the bongo.

Any way Jim, glad to see you enjoying the MM line like you are.

Will it blow the grilles off the cabs? Try it and let me know. :)
