I don't get it. I have three Bongos and the necks are all so different.

- My Desert Gold 5HH was my first - the neck is hard to adjust but it does adjust. The wheel is hard to turn.
- My Electric Blue 5HS came next - and the wheel is buttery smooth and effortless to adjust
- I just got the Sparkle Green 5HH and the wheel is all but froze. The neck had too much relief when I got it and every 2 or 3 days I would adjust it a 1/4 turn. No change in neck. Finally last night it got stright but the wheel was so stiff it actually bent my allen wrench!

I have been doing set-ups for decades - never felt anything like this.

Is this normal?

They can be hard to do at times but if your Sparkle Green 5 HH is not moving, call customer service and talk to them. AJ and company are really good at helping people out with issues they may be having.

Fender washer and or grease as needed.
Sometimes fender washers require a bit of
a shave to the PG at the wheel socket.

It turns out Bass Central paid the cost of shipping to EBMM - so my thanks to Grasshopper and Beaver. It was delivered to EBMM on the 21st - I must say FedEx does a good job. Now, just a matter of how fast the bass gets triaged for repairs.

It is back! Just in time for the weekend. My thanks to Jacob over at EBMM for the very excellent service. He actually inspected the bass personally to make sure the repairs were correct and also phoned me to work out the delivery options. Also - to mention Grasshopper at Bass Central for taking care of their end of the shipping costs. He has also followed up time to time to see how things are going.

Now time to Bingo the Bongo :)
