A very nice fellow from overseas has bought my bongo (thankfully the 25th allows me to not shed too many tears). To save on shipping I am trying to remove the neck on my Bongo. I have removed all the screws...is there anything else I need to do? Is there some adhesive or something because the neck doesn't budge at all?

I will call customer service tomorrow but I hoped to pack it tonight so i can get in the mail as promised.

:D did you remove the strings?

Seriously, once the neck plate drops out you should be able to gently pop the neck out, some say its better to let the heel of the neck pop out with the body facing down on a soft surface (cushion or blanket) and the heel coming out in a downward action rather than to pull the neck away from it's place horizzontally, to avoid causing damage to the heel pocket by dragging friction. If it's stuck give it a gentle nudge from the back of the neck as close to the body as possible, but if it doesn't barge don't force it. Take it to a luthier to do it instead (I doubt it will need that)

Luck be with you.
