Hey guys - we had a BLAST at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. The sound system & engineers were phenomenal. The bongo KILLED.

We were the closing Band on a three-band night and played an extended set to wrap up the evening (about an hour & 45 mins / 23 songs). Very well received and an open invitation to come back and do it all again.

Dance floor was jumping all night. At one point two women decided they were also going to make their Stone Pony debut and they took charge of two of our microphones to sing along with us. We've never needed security to pull women off the stage before, and we were very glad they were on-hand to clean this up for us.

We had a four-camera video crew on hand to record the entire evening, and also got live audio from the board and the room to mix down. We're still going through the audio and video recordings and should have stuff posted within the week. For right now, we've got pictures up for those that are interested.

Bongo looks great on stage! :D

Very cool pics Anthony! Loving that Bongo too. I have a 4Hp version of that exact bass coming in at the end of this month or early next month. Love that color with the abalone pickguard. If I'm ever out in your neck of the woods, I would love to see you guys perform!

It's a great color-combo IMHO. As for the 4Hp - that's the one I still think about. Very nice!

Great pics! The Pony is a fantastic venue.

Great fun playing a famous venue!
Yes! We were very excited to play a place with such rich history - it was very cool.

But - my lead singer and lead guitarist are total Bruce fanatics, and took the emotional-high to a whole 'nother level! It translated into great energy and was very well received. We have an open invitation to return and will probably make it an annual thing (it's not local to our area and we literally organized and promoted a bus-package to get 50 of our biggest fans down there!).

Let's just say we totally had a GREAT time and look forward to the opportunity to play there again. Next time all cool like, "Ah, yeah, this ain't no big deal - been here, done this before." ;)
