Hi it´s Mick from the guitar side of the forum.
Don´t want to disturb you too long, but do we have pictures from the original sketches of the bmw guys concerning the design of the Bongo.
Many reasons I ask:
BMW´s main factory is less than 20km away from my guitar shop in germany and I have many customers which work there.
Second reason (more important to me): Harry a friend of mine (bass player) turned fifty last month and a mutual friend of ours (Stefan Quenkert) who is a renowned artist (not a musician) produced a piece of artwork for him based on the design of the Bongo Bass.
He has no clue about basses and chose the Bongo just because it was the only design which inspired him. (I just gave hin a Guitar and Bass mag since he wanted to make something as a birthday gift)
Now I´m curious if the piece of art and the original sketches have something in common because Stefan initially worked in the industrial design buisness.
I bet you want to see the piece of art, but I have to ask the two if it´s ok to post pics of it.
So if any sketch is available that would be great and very interesting.

Example is the piece of art inspired by an AUDI TT´s air condition. It´s 81cmx81cm made of metal (multilayered), great work.
