Bongo owners only: How old are you?

I'm 44. And, this is what my 4 week old son thinks about your stupid poll:

I was afraid to look at this photo.....I couldnt bear to look at a newborn in a paisley shirt!

Aussie mark restraint is sometimes a good thing...or did the missus put her foot down?

These polls have already proven that a good many of us don't read the fine print.

I think we have enough responses....

Here's the result:

- More than 50 percent of Bongo owners are over 40. (Poll has 44 votes total)

- Only 20 percent of those who do not own Bongos are over 40. (Poll has 40 votes total)

Which proves one of three things:

1) The original premise is correct, that older people care less about appearances or convention than younger people do, and so are more open to buying a "different' bass.
2) That older people are wiser and more discerning, and therefore more impressed by the Bongo's awesomeness.
3) Absolutely nothing, since the poll is self-selecting and has no control.

I have been paying close attention to the poll here but i have to say that i am going against the grain and adding a vote for the younger generation. lol.. I am 27 and I have a Bongo 5HH among many other EBMM basses and the Bongo is at the top of my list! It has a sound that is so rich and full and so much more versatile than an SR5 in my opinion. I remember back when i first let my Dad hear my Bongo and the first thing that he said was " Son you can finally sell your collection off because that is the only bass you will ever need!"

Needless to say that is the only bass he has ever used that statement on! So carry on Bongo Warriors!
