I'm looking to buy a Bongo for the first time, and was wondering if someone could describe the differences in sound between the pickup configurations available. Thanks!

If you use the search function you'll find this topic has been asked quite a few times before, and will find the answer you need.

I have owned a Single H and a Dual H, and can honestly say that you cant go wrong with a Bongo.

The Dual H is the most steriodal, if you will. The H/Single Coil is a bit more refined, and the Single H is its own animal.

I would say the Dual H is the most versatile (duh), but the Single H is GREAT if youre a rocker. I play rock and the Single H cut thurough like crazy.
