finally, i picked up my bongo today(pictures soon) and i tried to find the serial no. on the link in the sticky and it wasn't there. where can i find the date of manufacture of my bass?:(

The sticky is a link to Gavin's site, which only has serial numbers and date of manufacture if the owner has submitted the information (or sometimes there are other methods).

If you post the serial number here, someone from the factory will eventually stroll by and give you the date (which Gavin will then add to his alternate database).
