AN LUIS OBISPO, CA (September 28, 2004) - "I love the Bongo - it looks, plays and sounds great," said Jim Anton, bass player for Jonny Lang. "It's the Cadillac of basses!" Anton said that he especially likes the tonal variation, the high quiet output and the nicely weighted balance of the design.
Anton has been with the Jonny Lang band since October 2003. The picture above was taken while on the road on the Long Time Coming tour with Jonny Lang. Anton will be hitting the road again in mid-September for a fall tour.
Jonny Lang, now 22 years old, is one of the youngest distinguished Blues singer/guitarists today. His releases include Lie to Me, Wander This World and Long Time Coming. He and his band have toured with Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, B.B. King, and Blues Traveler, as well as headlining around the World.
