YES!

The tide is turning! Soon, perhaps, should the moon and stars align, maybe I will be able to get my dream bongo of a (birdseye) maple neck with natural finish body.

PLEASE!

When BP showed the one Bongo that was all roasted with the body and the neck, he said the basswood in all natural did not look good but roasted it did so I doubt they will ever make an all natural Bongo out of basswood unless they roasted the body too in which case I would order one in a heartbeat.

I do think it would be interesting to see some Bongo's with natural necks. I love the all Rosewood ones and the roasted neck Bongo's and this one looks killer too.

That is the most bad ass Bongo ever created. I would have that thing is 2.2 seconds if it is ever made available. Holy cow.

Ditto to JayDawg's comment, and maple looks great on any bass.

When I bought my first Bongo, and after few months of introducing the bass itself, I thought how cool and powerful would be, to have maple neck, especially with birdseye maple. This version has totally blown my mind away. Splendid combination ! I think that it'll sound like stingray-classic one but more powerful and punchy.

Good choice !

I love unobtanium Bongos. It gives me something to aim for. That bass is stunning BP.

+1

Does not sound too difficult...

Step 1. Record a record that makes platinum status
Step 2. Get Randy Jackson to be my friend
Step 3. Invite Randy to the birthday party :)

Hmmm I wonder if I need any talent for #1 or #2? That could be a problem :)
