Hi everybody.

I'd like to have a cool Bongo picture as a wallpaper for my PC desktop (1024x768) but I can't find one. Currently I have a really cool Alembic wallpaper (which used to be my dream bass but not anymore), but as a proud Bongo player I'd obviously love to have a picture as great as this one (or better) decorating my desktop. Any info on this is highly appreciated. As a suggestion, EBMM should have something similar to the Alembic featured custom gallery which has many great pictures. Thank you in advance!

You need the pictures of Dude licking the Bongos!!!!!

Hahahahahahaha

I'm thinkin' a pic of Bovinehost's flaming green Bongo would be great a desktop wallpaper. How about it, Bovinehost? :)

And if you like it, you're more than welcome to use it.
If that's not one of the sexiest photos of a bass, I don't know what to say. Heck, it probably is one of the sexiest photos of a bass and I still don't know what to say.

It's funny how one of the first things I noticed was the mirror-finish on your pickup poles.

I took Bovine's stuff and made a couple slight changes.

One with a black background:
Black
Slightly altered of the original:
Cream
I need slightly higher resolution for my screen(1680*1050), but these will do for now.

finally got a shot of Desert Gold that i feel capture the color nicely. Too bad I got the flash a little off, but still I'm pretty satisfied.

Bongo Pictures

..Nice Picture, Strummer. You captured the color really well. That's actually my favorite color for a Bongo. I would want mine to have that with either a tortoise guard or or maybe even black or white would be nice, too. It will be a minute for me though, because I just ordered a Stingray 5. The greenbacks are a little occupied right now.

Also, nice pictures Steve. You really know how to make a MusicMan/Bongo player drool. I also just joined the Dudepit as well. I'm Mr. Light there too. I used to be known as The Hammer, but I hadn't participated in your forum in a while, so I guess the account dropped off or something. I was the guy who got up in front of everyone (including Harvey Brooks) and played a James Brown groove at the School Of Bass workshop in '04, remember? On the encourage of Lynn, I applied to LAMA and was accepted.
