Here's a few pictures of my new Lava Pearl Bongo, DR.Bass 2460D, and Genz Benz Neo-Pak 3.5. Has the sound of a winner.
Here's the original thread.

Quick Question. Should I keep the White Ice p.g. or get a Black Ice?

I just got my Lava Pearl Bongo 5 and I was freakin amazed on how good it looks. It just has a black guard, but it's shines just as good as the body. I'll have to put up some pics

Great job fellas:D

Hi,

I think that it looks fine the way it is... I have a Black Pearloid PG on my Candy Red Bongo and it looks sweet.

Don't these sound great. All you have to do is just tweak the control a little to dial in the sound you want. Great package - I too was looking a the GB heads, but had no way to compare them.

Good stuff!

I think your Bongo with the pearloid looks great. Saw your pictures here (or was it TB). Anyway, they do sound great. I like the fact they have the MM sound but your capable of dialing in other sounds as well. I had heard too many players on another board talk about how all the EBMM stuff was limited to that MM "tone". Know now that's nonsense. I think the Bongo in particular has a great variety. I think it certainly helps to have the GB head and DR cab due to the fact the DR's 3-way design allows the bongo's mids control to really shine through.
