Fran ....This thread exists because of you hijacking others threads. remember? after about a dozen hijacks jack finally refused to answer you unless you started your own thread. Please do not armchair mod and now you know what it feels like to have your thread hijacked.

I know you are excited and it makes me happy but I woory that you will have a nervous breakdown before it gets there

Yes Boss, time for my medication... hehe, no armchair modding intended, believe me I would rather sail the pirate infested coast of Liberia...

I'll go feed my pet shark now...

Wouldn't this be the true meaning of thread hijack?

That said, I'm hoping that the GCs in Atlanta get 5 string Big ALs at some point. I liked the 4 string version that I played, but I need to have the low B to justify the purchase, and I still think the Reflex is the way to go. It'd be nice to compare the two side by side, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I find this is the best way to deal with the wait. One day, it'll be here. Before then, it's not. I've got too much other stuff to worry about in the time being.

BP, I also remember at the time that you guys were working on the prototype for the 25th Anniversary, that there's a pic of you laying on the floor with 4 or 5 basses and guitars strewn around you all unpainted and all with the 25th anni shape and there was one particular bass 25th body with 3 single coils in the same format as the Big Al 3 singles... damn I can't find that pic anywhere.

I wonder if that was the pre-prototype for the Big Al or is it a project in the making for the Reflex? I for one think that a Reflex with 3 singles might be quite an interesting bass with the mahogany block and the maple top combo. wow.

You know what I find most amazing about that excellent photo... How BP's shoes match his shirt! Now that is what I call style! For a man that is the last of his era I think that is pretty cool!
