I know it has been said a few times, but it probably needs to be said again. Thank you all. It has been a very cool ride over the past few months - getting an inside look at the industry. Watching the development of the 25th has been awesome. Seeing BigAl spring to life made my jaw drop. The addition of the Stealth Ray and the Sterling by MM line have been the icing on the cake.

I truly appreciate the inside look, the answers to legit questions and the willingness to let us follow the development cycle; I hope that some of the entitlement elites don't spoil this for the rest of us.

Thank you all again - this has been unprecedented!
(now back to waiting for my Bongo to be finished)

The car manufacuteres go to such pains to disguise their new models in development that there are people who make a living as spy photographers for the car magazines.

Yes, not including the guitars, you've got the 25th Anniversary bass, the Big Al, the whole Sterling by MM line of instruments and the additional stealths new for 2009. Not to mention the Sterling5 and BFRs last year. You guys have been really busy!

I too really enjoy the insight that is provided here. For the most part I think the forum is a great group of people and appreciate the insight into what goes on behind the scenes at SLO. It makes the instruments I play seem a little more special.

If other bass manufacturers and luthiers had similar close interactions with their customers on what they want and need from a musical instrument, it would triple their business overnight.

Courteous customer service and player involvement in prototyping and product improvement goes a long way. Just two of many things not offered by bass manufacturers that aren't Music Man. (Like someone else I know....)

Music Man rules not just because the necks are the best in the business and the quality control is second to none, but also because it still cares about its customers as if each one counts.
