Hi, Who can tell me why it has been discontinued production of the Sabre Bass?
Original Stingray has been proposed with the classic series and also with a graphite neck (100 Namm is equal to Cutlass). Why The Sabre Bass has never been repeated?

thank you for your answer

Ciao

Just get you a custom PG and you make a
Sabre RI outa any HH Ray or Sterling. From
my recollection of the piercing voice of my
pre-EB Sabre, I'd say the Sterling would be
the better RI conversion, accuracy-wise.

Not bothering with the PG appearance as
merely cosmetic, I made my own Cutlas RI.
I call it my "Cutlas 3", cuz it has 3 PU coils.
It's a Sterling HS and Moses Graphite neck.

Edit: Just remembered. If you wanna mimic
a Sabre, you should add a thick steel plate
to the back side. My Sabre was about 12lb
and appeared to be made of northern ash,
aka baseball bat ash ... very close grained,
and no way near as mellow as swamp ash.
That boat anchor weight and that piercing
tone both belong to northern ash.
