it was a small venue and the seats sucked so we left/

that sucks. sorry man :(

i just saw the setlist online and its mostly chirstmas tunes. Ive got nothing against xmas at all, i love it, but i dont think a concert of 70+% xmas material (even if setzers playing it) is my cup o tea. i think im gonna pass on the show.

I went to the show at Universal on Sat and enjoyed it... Christmas theme aside, Brian Setzer is one hell of a player, and the band is great too. He did play a couple Stray Cats tunes (best part of the night), and the 'Jump, Jive'.. song.
But, it's definitely a Christmas show, so keep that in mind.

BP doesn't own Gretsch.

And they've been going downhill for how long now?

Sterling, could you please, for me, buy Gretsch so that:

(a) you won't get crappy seats at a Brian Setzer concert and
(b) I can hook up our lead guitarist?

the hey I never ask for favors,

Jack

he he. i got the comeback cd and its great.

but ... smoking the stray cats? james, james james ... c'mon now bro :)

Not talking about the songs (though Ignition does kick serious ass!), but the level of performance.

Mark and Bernie smoke Lee and Slim Jim.

Again...IMHO.
