Just a quick post to say how much I am loving the combination of my Lava Pearl Sterling H & my MarkBass CMD102P!!

I had a rehearsal last night and my sound was so good, it would have made a rabbi beg for a plate of baby back ribs! :D

Everyone here already knows how much I love my EBMM basses!

And the Sterling run through the MarkBass is nothing short of amazing!

Big thanks to BP & Marco for making me one seriously happy bass player!

And thanks to Pete for the kick ass setup! This bass is, as the French say, la bombe!

I have to agree with Ritchie, I was very skeptical about the Markbass stuff, but I am a believer now! thanks guys for making the basses and amps that dreams are made of.

Ritchie, I'm glad the honeymoon isn't over with that bass :D Enjoy it, I sure loved it while it was here.

Oh no! I think the honeymoon will go on for a good long while with this baby!

It took the place of my #1 Steinberger, which I had used for 13 years!

And in that 13 years, I bet I have had 40 or 50 basses.... Everything from A Bass to Zon!

And nothing beat the Steiny until this one!

Truly a wonder of nature!

You're very welcome! :)

I fired off an email to Marco via the MarkBass website. I hope he gets it.

I'm sure he'll get it.
If he doesn't get back to you personally, please understand that he's ridiculously busy these days--launching a PA brand called Markaudio next weekend in Italy, among many other things.
On behalf of Markbass, thank you for your kind words.
On a personal note, I have to agree that MusicMans and Markbass are a killer combination... I gigged with my Egyptian Smoke Bongo 5H, Little Mark II and TRV 102P last night and freaked the whole band out. ;)

Thanks again!

doesnt she make you feel kind of disposable and cheap?

That's really my wife's job, but Tiffs is a woman, so I suppose it's just part of the job description.

Sometimes I just cry myself to sleep.

I mean, some of that crying is caused by people not recognizing the genius of Lindsey Lohan, but still.

I'll refrain from mentioning that the combination of Little Mark II and Bongo 4HS has left me unwilling to gig anything else, causing the sell off of just about all my other gear.

er..

look, a kitten !
