Sterling, I have gotten my class assignments for next year and I have 4 classes of low achieving 7th and 8th graders. On top of that, 10-20 of the 120 kids will be ESL (English as a second language). Needless to say, I will have my hands full.

Anyway, one of the things I am looking to do is post words of advice and encouragement around the room to try and create a positive atmosphere. Your stories have been wonderful and I was wondering, if you had some time, if you could jot down a word of advice or two… it doesn’t have to be about education, just about life in general – drive determination, etc. - (seeing as how I have a ton of pictures up from the different EBMM parties, the kids actually do learn who you are in passing ).

With the Open Houses and parties, you have been more than generous and I understand you have a busy schedule; anything you have to say would be greatly appreciated (and if you don’t, that is cool too).
