Staying on target with the thread because I don't want to be accused of hijacking a thread with another "BP doesn't love me" post. Duh. Of course BP doesn't love me. I even have it in writing on a nice piece of paper, behind glass in a $2.00 frame, hanging in a prominent and conspicuous location in my dwelling. I'm gonna stop now before someone gets whacked.

Any way back to the thread.
I read everyone's response on this thread that responded before BP and all I could think was "Hey look, someone other than BP gave their opinion." Although only one person tried to guess what BP would say. Finally, BP's answer was just short of being non committal.

However, he used the word "balanced" to describe rosewood and I think he may be on to something here. Please bear with a short analogy:
The reason hamburgers taste better off a grill is the uneven cooking the fire affords. Some parts are burnt while others are raw. Sure it's not perfect but its the uneven-ness that makes it what I want. It makes magic happen at certain places. Rosewood is like being cooked on the flat iron surface. Everything is even throughout.

Nice thought crystallization BP.

After reading this I see what you mean about belonging in the Dog House. . . . . :D

Technically, I believe that credit should go to NorM since I didn't understand what in the hell he was saying, plus, he was the one who brought burgers into the conversation....can I get a ruling on this???

Felony Hijacking..it went from MorM balbering incoherently with a persecution rap to Steve and foggy talking about photos....

Guilty as charged I suppose...but NorM & Foggy are co-defendants.

BOT: I prefer RW over Maple if that's the only two choices from a purely ascetic basis as I don't perceive much difference in tone between the two.

This place is too fun! :p

I was a maple guy originally, but have really become very fond of rosewood.
It must be from drooling over all the pics that I have, which happen to be mostly rosewood. :)
