The leather/velcro idea is great. I'd definitely have one or two if they were available, from anyone really. EB/Peavey/Levi's I don't care.

Well, strapping a nylon/plastic strap to my custom Axis is like sticking plastic hubcaps on a nice 'vette.

Maybe the leather strap will reissued with 07 Limited Edition Blue Dawn. BP said there would be more to the limited edition than just the color.

Didn't BP mention that the opening order for the new EB straps was 10,000 pieces? Seems to me that making the velcro straps available again would be cost prohibitive.

kee-ripes! $150? If I could find the tab end for mine, I'd sell it instantly! They're cool looking, sure, but the web strap or a clip-lock strap is much more comfortable, IMO.
