This guy - Louie Savarino (Fairfax, VA) has THE hugest freakin' hands on the planet..and built himself an 6 string upright.

That's funny. I used to take stand-up lessons from Louis S in Fairfax (early 70's), and he started me on electric bass. By then he was up to 8 strings on his stand-up!
