Whoa! Man, he couldn't have been that old! (*Edit: he was only 55!) Sorry to hear he's gone.. I'm off to read the sad story now. *Sigh* what a great and unique voice.
I heard this on my local news last night and was quite saddened by it. Being from Massachusetts, Boston was/is a huge thing around here. Tom Sholtz lives 2 towns away.
agreed i'm only 28 and boston is a huge part of my musical life love those cheezy songs he,he. Definately a sad story, prayers go out to his family and friends.
Sad, great voice has left a great band, I regret never having the experience of seeing them live with the original line up. One of the other guitarists from Boston, I beleive Barry Godruea, most likely misspelled that, put out a solo album in the early 80`s, forget the tiltle, Orion or something like that and Brad was the vocalist,
this was a fantastic album and really showed off his vocal abilities. Brad you will be missed!
So very sorry to hear about Brad. I always thought he was one of the best singers ever. Man could he belt it out, and hold a note. I saw Boston in 86 and was very impressed with them live. Brad will be missed and he will never be replaced.
What makes this story even sadder is now it's being reported that he took his own life. I thought I read somewhere that BOSTON was getting back together and Brad was going on tour with them.
