Brad Paisley Rockin the BFR!!!!

Hey gang just wanted to share a pic of one of my Favorite Guitar slingers out there rockin his BFR AL.....Usually he plays his Blue one ...First time i have seen him with a BFR!!!! ...SCHWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! ......Can u Shed some light on it BP? ....Did he request it?......

Brad Paisley is really a great player.
The Play The Guitar album is really amazing.
Brad lost a lot of gears in the Nashville flood. There is an article in Premier Guitar.

I've seen him play an Axis Sport/Super Sport before but not an AL.

A friend of mine is a builder/repairman down where the flooding happened and told me that a ton of instruments were lost. A ridiculous amount of vintage gear was destroyed and unfortunately, a good percentage of those owners did not have insurance on those pieces. Paisley was on CNN and stated that basically everything but his #1 guitar was damaged. There's a video showing some of the damage at this one very popular storage facility, I believe the water was easily 3 feet deep, there was a bunch of open cases in the parking lot and a lot of upset people.

On twitter, Brad tweeted a lot of pics of Nashville, his gear, other musicians classic guitars and that storage facility that pug mentioned.

Just horrendous to see. I feel bad for the people that lost their lives and all those effected by the floods.

Seeing all those classic guitars totalled was just awful to see.

At least some good came from a lot of benefit concerts & events from actors, comedians & musicians.

Yah the acoustic Twitter Photo was devastating the sides were popped right off it!!! ......And he said #1 Paisley was at home at the time of the flood as well.

It is a total disaster down there, and a lot worse than I believe people can imagine. In the new VG they go on to say that hundreds if not thousands of of instruments were lost in private homes and the Symphony building lost a pair of Steinway pianos and an organ

Soundcheck which was the storage and rehearsal facility that housed the instruments and touring gear owned by Vince Gill, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Marty Stuart, Peter Frampton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steve Earle and others was just about destroyed To also talk about bad timing Joe Chambers the proprietor of the Musicians Hall of Fame which was recently displaced for a new Convention Center moved his collection which included guitars owned by Pete Townshend, Hendrix and Lightning Chance who was Hank Williams Bass player on his final recordings there. Johnny Cash Bassist Dave Roe lost over 30 Bass guitars in 4 feet of water.

"Even if you get full replacement value, go and try and find one like you lost" said Frampton. "Theres a lot of guitarist out there in mourning" adds Paisley, I lost every amp, guitar cable-from picks to a 52 Tele. I'm bummed. Garth Brooks guitarist Chris Leuzinger, says fans may hear a difference on future recordings."We all had stuff in there that we're not going to be able to use anymore. Things are going to sound a little different"

George Gruhn the famous vintage dealer and historian said when instruments are destroyed like that it is virtually impossible for anyone but a truly superb craftsmen to repair them, and so time consuming as to be far slower and more expensive than building a similar instrument from scratch. A restoration artist working full-time would be unlikely to restore more than 5 or 6 pieces per year.

Well what really matters is things like Vince Gill already raising 2 million and Paisley and other artist raising another 2 million already for what matters most -things like the Red Cross and the people who lost everything.
