Braided Cable Sound Distortion

I had the unfortunate accident of a water leak onto my studio and some equipment was damaged. my new EB 25' braided cable also got wet. Now the sound from my guitar into a Marshall amp is distorted/muted compared to other cables.

I've tried to dry it out in warm sun and with dehumidifiers and fans.

Is there any other solution/advice to this problem? It is only 3 months old. Can I get a replacement under warranty?

Sounds like you've got water stuck somewhere in the cable ends. They have heat shrink wrap around part of the cable.

Did you unscrew the cable ends to get the water out of there? I'm fairly certain they are not designed nor advertised to be waterproof, so I don't know if you would have any grounds for a warranty replacement from EBMM.
