I just received my 14-year old daughter’s Christmas wishlist. Here’s the number one item:

“MusicMan Luke in Luke Blue with piezo and matching headstock.”

And she only plays a few chords/licks! What’s more, she’s been bringing her band-mates to our place to see what a high quality guitar look like.

My work here is done.

I got my 12 year old daughter an acoustic guitar for her birthday and she got a few lessons. I don't think she has the passion for it. As long as she sticks with piano I am cool with it.

well, food for thought. I was pretty good at 15 and asked my dad for a geetar. He bought me some cheap ass epi acoustic second with bull**** for action and... although hes dead now, I STILL hold it against him.

David, wanna have a foster son? Just kidding! It's good your daughter knows what's good in that age! I don't remember who of forum-mates said that already, but investing on better (in this case the best) equipment will save your money in future!
