Thanks friends!

Took it to practice tonight (along with my Axis). Needless to say they both sound killer good, love the JP already - what great sounds.

Actually BP I'd rather thank you. In the almost 3 years since acquiring my first EBMM (I am up to 6 now) I have never been a more satisfied guitarist.

I do have one question - the guitar has a bar code or something taped to the backside - any precautions in removing?

Just a static-cling barcode. Perfectly safe to remove it. I remove it from all of mine, though I know some of the other guys here leave them on.

Scott - I think it is Sapphire Black but not positive. I purchased it from Guitar Center in Columbus. I went in to get strings :) and the rest is history. I fell in love with it - it is so different from my other Balls, had to go for it.

Edited to add - it is my first brand new EBMM and a very welcome addition

Heheh - I have a friend who went out of fuel and bought a house! - good goin' nice score,

Took my new JP6 (see start of this thread) to a gig set up for tonight's show at Screamin Willie's in Columbus - first time I have had the opportunity to play it at gig volumes with my full rig. Whoa, what a great bunch of sounds. That middle position is so darn useful, this guitar is very much blowing me away!

Congrats, brother....beautiful!

....but there's one question arising: Are you guys all pro-players, or don't you have any girl friends/wifes? :D If I got home with a new axe instead of strings my girl friend would go :eek::eek:

I know I don't have a wife to answer to, but my parents serve that purpose. However, the purchase of my first MM was planned, and my father said he was relieved that I was finally ditching mid level guitars, due to their unreliability.

I am blessed with a wife that is very understanding. She can't hear the difference in one from the other and doesn't understand why one would ever need more than one or two guitars, but does allow me to pursue my obsession within reason!

Well Mike I would say we could pretty much all edit your post above and have it ring true.

Let me take a stab at it...

BP & EBMM I'd like to thank you. In the almost 13 years since acquiring my first EBMM (I am up to 9 now) I have never been a more satisfied guitarist.

Sweet collection Mike. I like Graphite Pearl. Not a color I have owned yet, and I have no idea why I love that color!
