Bridge mute kit for a transitional sterling bridge.

They appear to be no longer available!

I suggest you try this Ebay sale. The thumb screws aren't period-correct (for your Bass) but the screw threads are the same. Also, the mute assemblies are the same fit for all Basses...whether Pre-EB or EB.

However, I'm suspicious of the quote:

"All parts are sold as is and all sales are final. No returns."

I'm also suspicious of their pristine condition.

I've been attacked in the past by refering to Ebay as "Evilbay"

BWTF...it's only a few $$$ (at the moment).

.

Yeah a few bucks is worth the risk. I was wondering why they looked so clean myself. Man this makes me extra glad I decided not to sell my beloved sterling though!! :D :D

Unreal....just fuggen unreal!

And the reply to the Q is:

"Hope that helps and sorry for the confusion".

There was no confusion...sheeeeeessh....more like (well...I bite my tongue).

.

His feed back is good though and I really dont care whether there new or not, Im actually glad it has the thumb screws. So im gonna try for it. The guy that ask him about it, did you notice he said he has like 70 stingray's! And I thought I had a problem!

Grab'em. It's all academic.

I mite set up a register of "Evilbays". It's great sport :D

I've had contact with the guy with all the 'Rays (some time ago). Can't remember who it is...maybe "Thumper"....I have pics of his Basses in my website Pic Gallery.

Anyhows....getting late here....Zzzzzzzz.

.

SH*T !!
I've been watching this auction & now they're
sure to be an expensive set of mutes.

Good luck ;)

'No international shipping or sales outside the 50 United States'

Damnit.

It's a shame that Gav runs his website (and his postings here!) better than some people run their businesses. Great job Gav!!

I've just been contacted from Insound in Germany.

They have 4 mute assembly kits.

I'm having then sent to me here in Australia. That will be the easiest way to secure them. There's been too much communication break down.

If anybody wants a set, let me know.

If not wanted immediately, just remember I have them in stock (cost plus postage).
