Bridge on EBMM JP

Hi, as you might already know, I've got a jp limited editon 2006, but i've noticed that the leva that goes in the bridge isn't tight once it's in, but when i see petrucci play, he can put the leva in any position he likes and it stays that way, without going down.
is there something i'm not doing right?
i just put the leva in the hole, is there something else i should do to have the leva tight?

From the FAQ: "A: Depress the tremolo arm like you are dive bombing. Looking up from the lower strap button, inside on the trem block on the right, you will find a 1.5mm hex key adjustment screw. You can adjust the arm's swing there."
