Okay. So, the bridge isn't really parallel to the body surface. From front to back (headstock to bridge), the bridge kind of tilts forward a tiny bit, but the bottom is still recessed. Okay, fine. That's just like the FAQ says.

The thing is, the high E side (treble?) of the bridge is closer to the body than the low E side (bass?). Should I just leave well enough alone? I mean, it plays fine for me. I don't have a problem with it. It's just not quite what it says in the FAQ. I like it just fine.

The bridge should be parallell to the body in both directions. If the bridge is tilting forward, then you need to compensate for the unequal force that the strings are exerting, therefore simply tighten the claw screws. Now if on side dips more, you'll need to adjust the amount of tightening. However if the bridge is not level at the trem posts then you need to either raise one or lower the other (the screws that the bridge rests against ...you'll need to loosen the strings to get at these)
