BP: As a loyal EB/Musicman user and recommender, I'd like to officially request that you re-introduce sparkle finishes as an option. There have been some amazing ones through the years, and surely you must have some old paint cans somewhere in the factory. Specifically, Blue Dawn, the one-off Fuscia Sparkle, and Autumn Redburst would be sweet, but I'm sure there are many others that the great artistes at EB/MM could come up with. And as a dad of a girl bass player, please introduce at least one "girly" color.

Finally, can you ship them with MM leather jackets and "fetch" shirts? ;-)

I also feel like this is a wasted effort, but what the hell....

I really like the blue sparlky Sterling that resides at Jack's house.

I'd also love to see a nice orange sparkle...maybe somewhere between Lava Pearl and Desert Gold in hue.

I may have to get me a beater and have old Petey paint her up for me.

BP...I wouldn't dream of buying a bass from another company. Fact is, the only bass(es) I use consistently on gigs are my StingRay(s). I know that sparkles were a "past" finish, BUT we can dream of a future with new sparkle hues, can't we? Maybe this will go no futher than just giving you major props for some truly artistic, wonderful finishes, but one can dream. :)

PS In the interest of integrity, I do own ONE boutique bass, which I'm selling to fund ANOTHER boutique bass. But that's because one part of me feels I have to own one "furniture" type bass to hang on the wall and give me a little tone variation. What goes on every gig is my Stingray.

Its a worthy cause that I fully support, But BP knows his stuff and no matter how hard we beg, odds are we probably wont see any more sparkles.

I think my big mistake was not stocking up on them when they were current finishes...sort of like Elaine's sponges in Seinfeld. Is this gig "sparkle-worthy?"

I'll though my name in there even though it's a futile effort. Bp's a business man and a smart one to boot. Sparkles sell to a small pertange (pretty much to forumites) and that's why there are still NOS out there.

BP, did you say that you guys are gonna start making mirrored guitars and basses????

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

and while they're at it, how about some clear lucite bodies, aluminium necks and in-built synths, since all are examples of successful product concepts from other manufacturers :D
