I know...
any idea how many sterlings were made like this? I did a search and it seems like there were around 100 total basses in this finish. Anyone know about sterlings specifically? This was the first one i had even seen a picture of.

Phantastic finish. And the corroded bronze look of the pickguard adds that certain "something" to the whole. Were any done with matching headstocks or maple fretboards? All I ever see are rosewood fb with unmatching hs.

really bad pics

I took some really bad pics and posted them on my flikr account. By the time the bass arrived the sun had gone down and i couldn't get any good pics in the natural sunlight. I wouldn't call it mint, but its in pretty good shape. Took the wonder wipes to it and its in dire need of a setup and new strings, bit overall i'm pretty pleased. Let me know what you think, i'll try and get some better pics up.
