For some reason I pictured the JPX roasted with chrome hardware, but it looks pretty badass with the black!

Why oh why didn't I order a roasted neck JP. That looks absolutely killer. Didn't think the JPX body was available to order with the Roasted necks. Might be a good sign that the JPX bodies will be available to order in 2011

Eye candy for you skinny stringers...

For me this is the most tempting guitar at the moment!

But, is it me, or does the roasted neck on this one seem a little less spectacular than other ones shown on this forum..

Still epic though, this package!

This wasn't as hot as I would've thought. Don't get me wrong here though, the guitar looks awesome. I just thought that seeing how much more awesome the regular JP guitar got with the roasted neck, I thought that the JPX would've looked even more awesome than this. Perhaps because I would've wanted the roast to be quite a bit darker than the pictures are making it out to be.

Ahwell, great and awesome nontheless :D

So, perhaps this is a silly question, but...

Why no matching headstock? I mean the roasted neck is crazy nuts, very nice touch, but when I see a loaded JP6/JP7 or BFR, I like the matching headstock look. The roasted BFR's and now the Black Sugar JPX, doesn't look 'loaded' any longer...

the purpose of the roasted is to see it; hence no matching headstock.
most people won't see the back of your guitar.

I had that feeling that it's to display the roasted neck, but just wanted to ask the reasoning not to offer the matching headstock option on them. After all, if it were my guitar, I know that it's roasted neck, feels good, sounds good, but have have the look of a matching headstock like the other loaded suckers.

Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving all!
