that puppet is freekin weird, does he use the puppet on stage koogs? does he talk with his real voice to the audience?

He didn't say a word at the two shows I went to....simply played some incredibly sick stuff and swung around his nunchuks.....I have seen videos of him using the puppet to talk with as well as have been told by others that is what he does when he talks as well......

Anywho....he is a MONSTER player for sure.....

Ok...I'm not sure what to say about the guy. I won't be mean, but I didn't see anything that made me want to go see him live. Here's a segment from a show I caught on PBS a while back. It just didn't impress me - and as you guys mentioned, he seems pretty fond of his kill switch...oh...and his nunchuckas ???

yeah every time i've seen him interviewed on paper or on video he as the puppet. Monster player for sure, the quirkyness in his playing is what sets him apart from all the other shred guys, almost nothing is standard!!!!

He can play. But his social skills need work.

There is no doubt that this guy is an amazing guitarist and I'm a fan of "the unique" but sometimes he just loses me in his weirdness. I would love to see him live though........

I wonder what the legal ramifications are regarding the KFC bucket that has become a staple of his persona?

Thats an amazing video.

Didnt he insist they build him a chicken coop in the studio when he was recording with G 'n' R.

Cool stuff.

I can see he has some dexterity, and might need a little mental help, but he doesn't do a thing for me.

I don't get wrestling either.

I'll stick with Petrucci's music.
