For all of you who are running low on money... not only a Luke but some other nice models, too:
Webseite: Gitarrenbausätze

Also included some Marshall Amp. If you have done all these, GAS should be cured forever.

I think they are supposed to be plans to make art deco type pieces you hang on the wall(and bad ones at that). If you look closely, there are no strings, hardware, pickups, etc. Hopefully, someone will come along and translate for us.

Thought everybody would recognize these are just some plans to print out on paper, cut them out and glue them together in some minutes.

I think it would be just as easy to use a picture of a Luke and blow it up to scale on a projector and paint in the details on a piece of styrofoam. We make all kinds of signs and cut outs like this at work and they look great.

...checked the sets - sadly those guys sorta screwed up with the tolex texture on the Marshall amp and cabinets. It's just not there...

Damn, I would have loved one of those on my office desk... :D

Ha ha... the Marshall stack would have been the first thing to build for me, too. Don't think I ever will own the "real thing".

Hey Volker,
doesn't always have to be a Marshall ;)
I found bliss in Diezel's Einstein head with a Marshall and a Hiwatt cab :D
Does it all and more...
Cheers

Got an Engl Powerball at the moment. Don't know yet if I keep it. The two hi-gain channels are probably a bit over the edge for my taste.
But what I meant was more that I'll never buy two 4x12 cabs. The 2x12 is heavy enough to carry around and does it's job.

...errrr, well...

Don't shoot me, but depending on what we're playing, I'm running either a single or even double 4x12ers in the rehearsal room (yes, it's well big enuff ;)).
Bought a 2x12er cab lately and modded it with Vintage 30ies and other stuff for "light-weight-gigging" though
...it's just that I cannot find anything that sounds and jumps as brilliant with my Einstein as my '73 Hiwatt 4x12er with the Fane speakers...even though this one easily weights over 60 kilos... *aaaaaaargh*

so you got your own roadies for carrying the cabs :p We don't have our own rehearsel room at the moment. But when we do I'll probably buy at least one 4x12.
