Sir Paul's AL.

To the best of my knowledge, Paul McCartney's AL has P-90s in it; and I want single coils rather than those. Pretty similar otherwise. :)

OK, how about this:

A double neck Y2D, hollow chamber with piezo on top and regular below?

Or this,

Carved topped Axis with a wrap around bridge, rosewood set neck and maybe an f hole thrown in?

Axis doubleneck - Baritone on top, standard axis with Floyd on the bottom.

Although, I'd love to have a hardtail Axis (just bring that back).

Mine would be something like this, the overturned headstock a novelty rather than something I'd particularly want. Would also have stacked humbuckers instead of the normal ones possibly.

The paint, although black would not show marks or dirt and from pick scratches, because they suck! :)

Hehe the "Disco".

And thats interesting, a reverse headstock. mmmmmmm

But l'm pretty happy with my Luke 1, l'd say that would have to be my signiture guitar. Don't know if l'll change a thing on it.

Scott.

I really, really like the AL's body shape so I would go with:

- AL body with maple top, no pickguard
- Luke neck profile
- HSS
- Vintage trem
- Lefty of course!

My second choice would be:

lefty 20th silo, maple, trem, natty headstock

It's nice to dream:)

Ahhh. Goldtop Axis Super Sport, HSS w/Silo Special wiring, Vintage Trem & Solid Rosewood Neck. Damn that would be sweet!!! Even sweeter if the singles were MM90's & all PU's were cream to match the trim. I don't think there's enough room for the 90's though...

20th Silo, piezo, coil splitting and 5-way switch ala Axis SS, 22 frets, rosewood fingerboard w/ Luke's low wide frets, and BP's Bahama blue burst w/ matching headstock.

Mine would be:

Axis Sport (with pickguard)
Oil finished body
Reverse headstock
HSS, with coil tap on the humbucker (push-pull on the tone)
Piezo trem bridge
Push-pull kill switch on the volume (or maybe a small switch)
5-way selector

I reckon that would do me!

:)
