What Beej said. Having wanted a HH AL for so long now that mainstream users can buy them I'd pass and buy a new one - No dis-respect to the previous owner but it's still 3k for a used AL....

Awesome colours though!

Lol,lol,lol,lol

Beej, you did say this humorously - didn't you??
My sarcasm at work. Seriously, how many times do you see artists sell guitars they get for free, for a ton of cash? It's a smack in the face to the manufacturer. Keep it, give it to your kid, whatever.

Don't mean to add fuel to the fire, despite I know how every financial penny counts as a working musician, I agree with beej...... I like dweezil but cmon man.....

Send it somewhere where it'll get played, and where its not viewed as a "collector's item" or a "fan item".

OK OK I have known Dweezil since he was a kid. I used to be very close to him. He used both of these guitars extensively until he started the Zappa Does Zappa....thats when he went to Franks stuff...He is a great guy and a strong player and I still consider him a friend. He is what I would call an over endorser...count the ads and companies over the years of dweezil.

He has some personal issues and called ma and asked if I would buy them...I declined so he is selling them now.

Oh well

Way to pricey. I could care less who played it before me. Is what it is. Nice looking AL though.

Dweezil is a very, very good guitar player!! I am certain that his playing alone brought much recognition to Musicman.

It's unfortunate, but I assumed within seconds of reading the post that their are economic "concerns" prevalent. We all know that we "love" the guitars we gig with, and that there is normally NEVER a reason would would sell them "save" monetary concerns and difficulties.

I'm sure it hurts DW as much as it does any of us to "have" to sell our beloved guitars because of financial concerns. I wish him all the best, perhaps one day he will be able to re-coup some of his guitars.
