As a long time DZ fan and owner of his old 5149 1/2 Shamer, that he sold for $300(!), I'd like to say that I asked him about 2 years ago to buy that AL from him and he quoted me a price quite a bit lower than the one on the eBay ad. In fact, several of the guitars that store is selling were for sale on Dweezil's site 2 years ago and all of them were cheaper than what's on eBay now. At that time he was using the money to pay for his divorce. How many times have you seen ads for guys selling gear because of a divorce? No one slams them, why give Dweezil a hard time about it?

Such a shame - I'm a BIG DZ fan and really hope he gets everything in order. Moreover, the world NEEDS another Z album Shampoohorn and Music for Pets rocked!!! By the way, whatever happened to "What the Hell Was I Thinking"?

The blue sparkle sold on ebay a few months back, but those photos have since popped up again in scam auctions, so be careful!

How do people scam on eBay? I've bought many guitars on there with paypal, but I still don't understand how people actually do that. That would suck so bad.

Those Albert Lee HH sparkle look so good. If anyone here want to sell one please let me know! I've been looking at Blues Saraceno's Gold sparkle. It looks so cool!

I remember stumbling upon your 5149 1/2 video on youtube. Very cool!

Thanks! I'm sick over not buying DZ's Blue Sparkle AL when I had the chance to as that's probably the coolest looking guitar I've ever seen. The first time I met Dweezil I asked him all kinds of questions about it. He gladly talked to me about the guitar and did nothing but praise the EBMM guitars and even suggested I get an AL with MM90's.

I almost bought the Green sparkle AL MM90's, but I couldn't fathom spending $2700 on just one guitar, it was cool and all, but for that price I could have gotten 2.

They were both very cool, but the place that sold them in the end was asking way too much in my opinion.

Why is DZ selling these guitars? don't really care...his reasons are his own no? doesn't diminish his appreciation for EBMM does it? Just my .02
