Buttercream Stingray HH

I was wondering how many of these were actually made because I found a good deal on one and also if it is difficult to set up one of these as I see some people asking about setup for HH stingrays.

This bass is a real beauty and the tone is awesome but just wondering if it might be too much or too difficult for me to handle.

Very few. I don't have an exact count, but I think I heard 20 or less. I could be a little off. There was one on eBay that ended today or yesterday. Nice bass. Surprised no one bought it.

You may need to be more specific of which buttercream HH model you're buying.
If it's a 5 string HH, then it's reported 20 were made. 4 trings? I don't know

Other than a truss rod tweak, I have not had to touch my 5HH for any other adjustments. Just plug and play.

Yeah thats the one I was planning to buy.
And its the four string. I'm trying to contact the seller right now to get a deal on it.

That bass would be a nice choice. I watched it to the wee hours as it closed thinking real hard about almost going for it.

Yeah its the one I was looking for but I didnt have all the money so I could purchase it. Im going to talk with the seller about making a down payment on it and then give him all the money when I have it, in like two weeks.

GUys Now you understand why I prefer that people handle customer service issues with us rather than the forum....Because of two threads this week regarding buzzing basses
here is a guy who is wondering if he should buy one of our basses. He also is led to believe that two pickup basses buzz more than one and that is not true..It is only the addition of a pickup...

Alright thanks for the clarification.
Do you know exactly how many of these were made then?
After that then I should be decided on which to buy as I have the choice of either buying the single or double humbucker.
